Jen did get some sleep last night.
Thank you for your prayers.
She felt much better today.
The last 2 days, Jonathan has been on a schedule minus a few interuptions when he had some visitors.
All in all, he is adjusting to his new schedule.
We have already moved Jonathan into the other room so that Jen is not disturbed by evey little noise that he makes.
Hopefully, he will adjust quickly to his new environment and sleep during the night.

AMEN!
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm happy for you guys. The schedule thing isn't for everyone, but it worked 'like a dream' for us with all 4 babies! :) Parenting is challenging and just when you think you've figured your baby out, and got the schedule down, something changes! But, having a routine really helps figure out what your baby's needs are.
ReplyDeleteI think you guys are doing a great job and it's a blessing to see you with your sweet son. xoxo
Wow, we're so glad to hear that you are feeling better. Praise God!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't push for a schedule until around six weeks when the kids were a little heavier, nursed longer, slept more, and spit up less.
For insomnia, I drank Sleepy Time Tea and filled a potpourri crock pot with water, added six drops of lavender oil and let the aroma fill the room. Some people just simply put 1 to 2 drops on their pillow. There's something about lavender...relaxing and makes you sleepy. It might be worth a try!
Miss you! Things are going well at school. Choir and Play Production students are working hard. Most of them could not walk for the rest of the week after learning their new choreography to Cat Like Tread. Tee hee. Rochelle and Alison are doing a great job. :) Just know that you are missed and the students are in good hands until you return. Give Jonathan a squeeze!
God Bless, Cynthia
